Long walks are fun, but sometimes you might bump into a patch of rain or wind. Have no fear, no matter what the weather is like, you can get your clothes nice and dry again with Home Connect.
The rain’s okay with Home Connect
While some of us love the wet weather, not everyone enjoys getting drenched like it’s Singing In The Rain by Gene Kelly. If you get caught in the rain, you might want to get your clothes dry as soon as possible. Before you put on a load in your smart dryer, use Home Connect to get the best results for your clothes. Whether you’ve been wearing a jacket, big wooly jumper, or simple jeans, there’s a specialist option.
Dry out your outdoor clothing
If your outdoor jacket has been soaked in a surprise shower, Home Connect has a special drying program that can help you out. Under Control on your drying machine you can select from a list of Programs, which includes Outdoor. Select Next and you’ll see various options including Low Heat, a good thing to choose when dealing with specialist outdoor materials. Load your stuff in and press Start to get your goods dry again. Just remember, with all drying programs, if you also have mud on your clothes it might be a good idea to clean it off first, otherwise it can get stuck in your dryer!
Do it delicately with wool
If your wooly jumper or hat is in need of a dry, our smart home app can also help. Just like Down Wear there’s a specific program called Wool finish, and you can also use Easy Start to help. Select Easy Start, then scroll down to Wool garment and go from there. Both are good options for when your wool clothes get really wet and heavy, whether from a raincloud or a regular wash.
Time for the Rapid 40
If you need normal clothes like jeans dry in a hurry, Rapid 40 might be for you. This one isn’t suitable for delicates, but can quickly get your clothes toasty and warm in, as the name suggests, rapid time. You can choose this in the same way as the others under the Control and Program selection of your drying machine. Run, rapid, run!
Shake it off
It’s important for both your physical and mental health to get out and about, so don’t be put off by looming rainclouds. Remember to wrap up warm and if you end up getting a bit wet this April, don’t worry and let Home Connect deal with it. Happy strolling!
