Finding it hard to talk about your most inner feelings sometimes? It’s so easy though, even your smart refrigerator can do it. Provided that it speaks the language of Home Connect (i.e. that you installed the app on your phone – you can get it from Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and you enable Push notifications. But don’t worry, your cool friend won’t bend your ear. You will only receive push messages once you’ve activated them and in case something gets out of hand.
Keep your cool
Say, you’re not at home, there’s a power cut, and the temperature in your freezer or fridge starts to decrease. You would want to know, right? Home Connect will make sure those tender steaks and fresh veggies don’t go to waste – by simply sending you a little push notification as soon as the temperature drops significantly.
Raise your glasses
The same goes for your fridge door. Forgot to close it? Your fridge will let you know if it’s getting too warm. And if you are lucky enough to own an icemaker in your fridge, you can even opt to receive push notifications once its container is full. So, once Party Mode is activated, you can always make sure there is enough ice to raise those glasses.
How to activate this refreshingly smart feature
You can activate push notifications conveniently in your Home Connect app. Simply tap on the profile icon in your Home screen’s top right corner to enter your Push notification settings. Now enable Push notifications for either all or selected appliances to receive important alerts and updates.
