Status update
Watching tv on the couch, with dishes ready to run? No problem, you can use Home Connect to select the right dishwashing program or option wherever you are. With Remote Start enabled on your dishwasher, you can control all your dishwasher programs in the app and get an overview of the current appliance status such as whether the device is switched on or off, the remaining time left or if the washing process is finished. You can even set push notifications to let you know when a program is done!
Dishwashing program, I choose you
Under Dishwasher you’ll see the Control menu with Programs. Here Home Connect shows every program your dishwasher can do, along with details in the top left corner to help you make informed choices. As well as telling you the difference between your Auto 65-75* and Auto 45-65* washes it will also give you specialist programs such as Glass*, Silent* and Pre-rinse*. You can pick an option as easily as a tv show, so stay on the sofa! Smart home technology is quite nifty, isn’t it?
Mild or wild, find it in ‘options’
Another nifty feature of Home Connect with the Dishwasher is the versatility of options it gives you under, you guessed it, Options. There are loads of settings here, pun intended with Half Load*, which tells your machine to use less energy and water when there are fewer items. You can also use Intensive Zone*, a setting designed to give pots and pans a really good blast of water when they’re extra dirty. There are loads of options, so take a look and see what you need before you hit that start button. As soon as you do, your selected program will be sent automatically to the dishwasher.
Right on time, every time
Need your favorite wine glasses or favorite bowl clean for a certain hour? Set a start time delay conveniently via the app to choose when your dishwasher runs a program. After selecting which option you are using, click Duration and you will be taken to Start time. Here Home Connect tells you how long a program will take, along with the exact finishing time. To change it, simply scroll along to your desired time, then press Done. This feature is great if you plan to be out and about and want the dishes done for a certain time.
Convenience, at the push of a button
