i-Dos is an intelligent dosing system for your smart washing machine that makes sure you use the correct amount of detergent when you’re doing laundry. It determines how much detergent is needed according to the following:
What textiles are in the drum.
The size of the load.
How soiled the clothes are.
The technology uses the same information to regulate how much water is needed for each load. In general, i-Dos will save you up to 10 liters of water and 38% of detergent with every wash. Therefore, setting it up is great for your wallet and the planet.

How to set up i-Dos
Here’s how to set up i-Dos in a few easy steps:
Fill the laundry detergent (up to 1 liter) and the fabric softener (up to 0,5 liter) chambers with the appropriate product.
Set up the basic dosing level on your Home Connect app (Washing Machine > Settings > Additional Settings) or on the machine itself according to your detergent’s concentration, which is listed on the back label of the detergent. Make sure to adjust the concentration when you switch detergents.
Choose the program for your load. You’ll notice that i-Dos is already preselected for most programs.
