Renewable energy is on the rise. Are you thinking about installing a solar or wind energy system or do you already own one? Loxone manages your self-generated energy and feeds it straight to your smart home appliances. Homemade electricity, so to speak.
How will self-produced electricity power my appliances?
Energy obtained from solar panels or wind turbines can be fed into the grid, but it can also be used for your own smart home. Acting as an energy manager, Loxone’s Miniserver supplies your Home Connect appliances with electricity, whether it’s your dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, or robot vacuum cleaner. What’s even more intelligent: The inbuilt energy management will distribute and make use of electricity where it’s needed most.
Focusing supply and demand
Overcast sky, not a ray of sun in sight? In case electricity cannot be produced when it is needed, Loxone’s intelligent Miniserver will simply delay the start of the program – if you wish. The priorities are completely up to you. If clean laundry is more important than anything else, you can line up all other tasks at hand. Just enter the time your laundry needs to be finished and your Miniserver will adapt to it. If an excess of electricity may occur at a later point in time, you can power up to 12 appliances simultaneously.
Feel safe at home. Even when you’re not there
Loxone offers many more features and highlights, like the 'Leave House' function: Triple click the Loxone touch button and your Miniserver will check whether all appliances with Home Connect have been switched off when you step outside. Did I really turn off the hob? This is something you will never have to ask yourself again.
